High point of the terraces

1 - Departure

At the Vieux bridge, at the “Les Terrasses du Pech” sign, take the porch where the so-called “asparagus” path begins, in reference to the plant that is commonly found in the wild on the slope. Note the calade pavement (word of Occitan origin designating rustic paving). The path climbs in regular laces (do not enter the various trailheads that start horizontally, on either side of the route)

2 - Take the GR on the right

The path leads to a wide path. Then turn right by taking the GR Sentier des Bonshommes / Sentier Cathare to a crossroads marked by a dry stone building on which a large explanatory panel rests.

3 - High point of the terraces

Take the horizontal path to the right which comes out in the open after a short climb equipped with a wooden ramp. Follow the well-marked markings up to the highest point corresponding to the “dry construction” sign. Continue the path horizontally before descending, passing near a ruined shed.
