Winter is coming! ❄️ The weather is getting cooler, it's true, the tips of our noses are a little pinker, we want to wrap ourselves up in our warmest blankets... And yet a lots of hikes can be done in this season especially when the sun appears on beautiful winter days!

En Ariège Pyrenees we haven't finished surprising you since we have concocted for you our most beautiful walks and hikes to do during this period! So for the less cautious among you, discover our favorite spots ! 🚶

Our ideal hikes for winter

· Cape Carmil

An itinerary that will offer you a incomparable view of the Pyrenees chain, massif of Mount Valier, Three Lords Peak. So already the view is not bad but if you go there at sunrise, WOW effect guaranteed ! 🌄 You will cross beautiful fairy forests who have even more charm when dressed in a white coat.


· The path of the young ladies in Caraybat

In addition to offering you breathtaking views of the Tabe massif, the advantage of this route is that it faces south! You will be in the sun throughout the ride, ideal for stocking up on vitamin D. ☀️ Departing from the village of Caraybat, this 9-kilometer loop will offer you very beautiful views of the Lesponne valley and Roquefixade castle in the distance.

· The tabariane loop

For a cultural stroll, opt for the Tabariane loop which will immerse you in the Merovingian era through this necropolis ! At departure from Teilhet, discover a place steeped in history which required more than 10 years of archaeological excavations. ⛏️ You will find interpretation panels which will detail the rich history of this place with, as a bonus, a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees mountain range. 🏔️
