Ariège has nothing to envy to its neighbors in the Pyrenees, both for the beauty of its landscapes and the number of peaks to conquer! They are undoubtedly fabulous playgrounds for all lovers of outdoor sports: climbing, mountaineering (summer and winter), hiking or even ski touring, the view of the Pyrenees mountains leaves you speechless every time!

In the middle of the mountains, the summits of Haute-Ariège and Couserans offer extraordinary lookouts, oscillating between 1700m and 2300m above sea level: Peak of Tarbésou, Peak of Saint-Barthelemy, or even Orlu's tooth.

Further south, towards the Spanish border, stand the Ariège giants: the Valier, Mauberme, Rulhe peak … And other impressive behemoths which sometimes rise to more than 3000m in altitude.
Le Montcalm and the Pique d'Estats, at an altitude of 3077m and 3143m respectively, are the lords of these incredible places.
