Did you know that in Ariège, there are events labeled "Green Manifestation"? Kezako 🤔? This is a sporting, cultural or popular event committed to an eco-responsible approach.
This 100% Ariège label, in line with the objectives of the sustainable development,, proposes to promote events that implement real actions to reduce their impact on the environment as much as possible. Also, it is a question of making these events accessible to as many people as possible.
For'get this label, project leaders must respond to a list of thematic criteria and actions : set up differentiated sorting, offer returnable reusable tableware, use of biodegradable materials in signage for example, or even in the promotion of short circuits in Ariège.
There are 4 levels of labeling depending on the degree of commitment of the event: green (basic level), yellow, pink and blue 👇
Inaugurated in 2019, the objectives of these green events are multiple:
• Foster the local, social and solidarity economy
• Foster access for all audiences and their cohesion
• Minimize and sort the waste ♻️
• Take into account the biodiversity ????
• Raise awareness/educate
• Minimize the impact of travel 🚗
• Promote renewable energies and water saving 💧
