The RITE is a week of celebration, of meetings around the cultures of the world, in Saint-Girons, and in the Midi-Pyrénées Region: 250 participating artists (musicians, singers and dancers) from 8 countries.

A party with great shows, concerts where conviviality provides a unique atmosphere; exhibitions, street parades and entertainment every day in town and in the villages of the Ariège valleys. The RITE, a growing success with an attendance of 20 people.

The RITE is always a place of fraternization between peoples where we learn that popular traditions in their diversity of expression carry what is essential in man. The opportunities for these contacts will not be lacking in the city and in the villages for a week, in particular during the music, song and dance workshops.

Popular culture is the real subject of the RITE with above all musical and aesthetic emotions. The way that each people communicates its identity will make it possible to start from the discovery of the other in the happiness of the celebration but also in respect and mutual enrichment.
