Domaine de la Trille is located on the border of Aude and Ariège, between Pamiers, Castelnaudary and Carcassonne. It is 1h30 from the principality of Andorra.
5 minutes away, there is Mirepoix, a medieval town whose square is surrounded by historic canopies. There are many restaurants and shops and tourist activities throughout the year: the swing, the historical festivals, the MIMA: the puppet festival, the weekly Monday market, the flower market, etc.
Florence and her brother Benoit raise a herd of Limousin cows of around a hundred animals. It is with great pleasure that they will show you their farm and share their passion.
On the farm you will find the Shop for farm products and local products, it opens on demand.
For your dinner or lunch you can buy boxes of stews or veal blanquette made with their meat.
For visits you will be spoiled for choice because the Domaine de la Trille opens onto two departments, Aude facing the sea and Ariège facing the mountains. In Aude you can visit the city of Carcassonne and the Cathar castles and finish in Narbonne, stopping at the magnificent Fontfroide abbey. In Ariège, you can explore a number of small chapels like Vals, or caves like Niaux and the Mas d'Azil, discover prehistory in Tarascon sur Ariège...So don't hesitate to embark on this unusual getaway, where you can take the time to go green, eating on the private garden tables around each caravan, letting your children run around in the fields that open up all around. While contemplating the peaceful horses grazing in the meadow.
