The Garbet pond is the largest natural lake in the Aulus les Bains valley. Very popular with fishermen, you will reach this magnificent place via a path that is initially easy and then more "brittle". The circus around the Garbet pond offers a magnificent view of the breach from which flows the weir of the blue pond located 300 meters above. It is this waterfall that feeds the Garbet. With a little chauvinism, we can say that this is our little "Breche de Rolland" !!
Road access: From Aulus-les-Bains, take the direction of Port de Lers (D8f), go up to the car park in a hairpin bend (clearly visible hiking signs indicate the start)
