The Garbet pond is the largest natural lake in the Aulus les Bains valley. Very popular with fishermen, it is by a path that is first easy then more "breaking" that you will reach this magnificent place.

The circus around the Garbet pond offers a magnificent view of the breach from which flows the spillway of the blue pond located 300 meters higher. It is this waterfall that feeds the Garbet. With a bit of chauvinism, we can say that it is our little "Brèche de Rolland"!!
Road access: From Aulus-les-Bains, take the direction of Port de Lers (D8f), go up to the car park in a hairpin bend (clearly visible hiking signs indicate the start)
