Transhumance in Bellongue

We would like to meet you in the beautiful and typical village of Saint Lary, department of Ariège, at the end of the Bellongue valley where you will accompany shepherds, breeders, sheep and horses to the Col de l'herbe Soulette: gate d The entrance to the magnificent pastures of Estremailles, always proudly dominated by the Pic de la Calabasse.

Far from intensive practices, we will share our traditions and our pastoralism which preserves our spaces.

You will be able to communicate freely with breeders, breeders, shepherds and shepherds.

A local naturalist will lead an educational workshop to introduce you to flora and fauna.

Meals made from local products will be offered upon reservation.
