At the foot of the ruins of the castle, an orientation table will show you all the villages of the upper valley of Vicdessos where the mountain is exceptionally beautiful and clear.
A 15-minute walk from the entrance to the village will take you to the orientation table and to the remains of the castle which was one of the most important in the county of Foix. It was a major site for study and archaeological excavations, of which you can find the objects discovered at the Maison des Patrimoines in Auzat
