The Courtal de Cougneit from the Lers pond on snowshoes

At the car park, take the road which goes down towards the pond towards the Col d'Agnès. Facing the fishing pontoon, you will take the forest track on your right. at the first junction turn right. At the second junction take the track which goes up to the left into the forest. The hike is through the undergrowth, until you reach the Cougneit courtal, from where you have a lovely clear view. Return by the same path. For an easier variant, prefer the Ribes snowshoe hike, which continues straight on at the second junction, without the climb.
