Castillon, take the D4 towards Saint-Girons, 1km on the left D618 towards Luchon. After Illartein, turn right towards Buzan. The start of the loop is at the end of the village at the wash house.

Join the starting point

1 - Departure from the wash house of Buzan (at the top of the village)

Follow the level track straight (red and white markings) and turn right at the first intersection and left a little further.

2 - Cross of Casseich (small chapel of 1693)

Continue to the left then to the right: slight descent.
You will cross a small stream after turning left again.
After a bend, the course climbs to the right and again to the right.
You emerge into a meadow dotted with birches, stay level to exit the meadow.

3 - The plan

Follow the path to the right (ruined barns) from where the view is magnificent from the Col de la Core to the Pic de la Calabasse.
You enter the beech forest.
You will walk along meadows before arriving at the fork.

4 - Bifurcation (barrier on the right)

At this point, on the right, it is possible to descend quickly into the meadow to reach the village of Buzan.
Otherwise, continue to the left on the path which leads to a turning area of ​​a forest track. Take the wide stony path to the right to reach a fork, you go to the right. You reach the Col d'Antys.

5 - Col d'Antys (this pass is not very visible in the forest)

Continue the path and descend to the left.
Be very careful and follow the markings at the start of the hairpin descent.

6 - Return to the starting point

You follow the cross to the left to reach the village of Buzan.
