This barn is accessed in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, via a narrow and winding road which offers an exceptional panorama of Mount Valier, lord of Couserans. With its bird's-eye gables, typical of the soulane of Cominac, the barn is one of the classified and registered complexes of Ariège. On the edge of the forest, on a hiking trail, it is an ideal spot for observing wildlife and admiring the starry sky that no light pollution spoils.
Inside, we enjoy comfort, calm, and simple things. No TV but board games and a Pyrenean library. No wifi but a turntable and vinyls, and a 4G network sufficient for video, online games and streaming. A renovated 80s caravan, to be used as a nap area or child's playhouse. The barn is 25 km from Saint-Lizier and the Guzet station, with its express sled in the summer. Aulus Thermal Baths are 13 km away.
