10 am Guided tour of the Ardouin hotel museum in Mazères.
This beautiful pastel hotel built in 1580, bordered by a Renaissance-style garden (medicinal plants, vegetables, topiaries) houses the Mazères museum where you will find a summary of history, from Antiquity to the present day. You will also discover objects from the excavations carried out at Bénazet, the largest Merovingian necropolis in the south of France located in Ariège.

11am Guided tour of the medieval bastide town of Mazères.
Let yourself be enchanted by the characteristic architecture of this bastide, where you can see a hall listed as a Historic Monument, a church, cutlery and half-timbered houses, as well as sumptuous mansions, a former Dominican convent built in 1878 and the remains of a medieval bridge. Every corner of this city has breathtaking architectural treasures in store for you.

12:15 p.m. Lunch at the Domaine de Garabaud restaurant in Mazères.

14 pm Guided tour of the "Domaine des Oiseaux" in Mazères.
The "Domaine des Oiseaux", a must stop at the gates of the bastide, this ornithological environmental park offers you the opportunity to discover in all seasons and in a space of total freedom, an exceptional fauna in quantity and diversity, as well as many terrestrial animals that frequent wetlands. Your guide will introduce you to the breeding center for white storks. He will also introduce you to the museum of old agricultural tools and show you the video cameras that film the estate's ponds live.

16 pm Visit to the GAEC Crismarialain farm in Mazères.
Come and share the passion of agriculture in Ariège and more particularly of suckler cattle farming of the Vidal family. Discover the different cultures that are present on the farm in the form of a discovery workshop. Specific visit of the structure. On-site product tasting. Direct sale of organic meats and preserves.
