In the programme :
- 10:30 a.m.: guided tour of the Mas d'Azil cave
Discover the first men. Your visit will start with
300m² interpretation center: models and new techniques
virtual will allow you to better understand the guided tour. Your
guide will approach in turn, the formation of this gigantic cave, the
paleontology but especially prehistory.
- 12:30 p.m.: lunch in a restaurant in the village.
Menu suggestion: Thai-style fresh salad - old-fashioned beef stew - apple crisp - wine and coffee included.
- 14:30 p.m.: Discovery of the Sabarat Astronomical Observatory
Observe the sky without risk and in specialized glasses, during the day.
Passionate animators will show you around the dome which houses the "Big Blue", a fixed telescope with a 450mm diameter mirror. Opportunity to discover the sky in the evening to observe the Moon and the stars.
