The Little Beech House

The "Little House of Beech" enjoys an ideal location, both close to the town of Foix, nestled on the edge of the Barguillère valley, hilly, which is nicknamed the "green" valley and also at the gates high peaks of the Pyrenees. The gîte, built entirely in the spirit of eco-construction, with local wood, natural coatings… is located in the charming and friendly little hamlet of Burges, belonging to the commune of Brassac. On the edge of the hamlet, the small beech house opens onto generous nature, meadows, woods, hiking trails, rivers and mountain peaks. The light enters through the large bay windows and gives you a feeling of being at one with the surrounding nature. Agnès bets you to combine the luxury of comfort and simplicity and to offer you a cozy nest to recharge your batteries in all weathers and in all seasons and enjoy Ariège holidays rich in various possible activities. The single-storey gite, completely new, has a capacity of 2/4 people. A real large entrance with large shelves and storage cupboards. An 'unusual' boat cabin type bedroom with porthole openings that overlook the living room and the surrounding nature, it has 2 140/150 beds. A large living room/kitchen, very bright, furnished in a charming, sober and cozy way. It has 1 sofa bed made up of 2 real comfortable mattresses (160 bed), 1 convertible velvet sofa, 2 armchairs, a wood stove (provided), a library. A kitchen entirely built in wood and equipped in new. Everything has been thought out so that you can really cook. Computer workspaces with free WiFi connection and also possible wired Ethernet connection. An adjoining terrace with the living room gives the impression of being one with nature. It is equipped for rest and relaxation. Garden furniture, shade cloth, parasol, gas griddle, sun loungers. A garden of aromatic and medicinal plants, vegetables and edible flowers. A chicken coop where you can collect fresh eggs, feed the hens. A private parking space on the edge of the gîte. A deep rest thanks to the silence, to the reassuring and enveloping calm of the surrounding nature, to the gentle presence of the enchanting garden. You will be able to enjoy in complete autonomy or Agnès will be at “your little care”.
