A picturesque high mountain village not far from the Col du Chioula

Number of inhabitants: 110 Distances: Ax-les-Thermes 7 km Ignaux is a small high mountain village where you can contemplate its very pretty central square Roger-Barre, located at the entrance of the village, or even its Church Saint-Barthélemy parish church, its war memorial and its central fountain. Ignaux is very close to the guarded Refuge du Chioula, located at an altitude of 1600 m, offering an exceptional panorama over the Ariège Valley, Ax-les-Thermes and the slope opposite. The village is notably irrigated by the Linats, Jacob and Coume streams. Opening hours of the town hall: Tuesday: 17 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.
