José Da Fonseca has been manufacturing horn objects for 30 years. His dexterity and his know-how are impressive: sixteen operations are necessary to transform a piece of horn into a beautiful solid comb.

José Da Fonséca started working at Jouret in Ivry-sur-l'Hers, then at Azéma-Bigou in Lesparrou for many years, before buying the factory
Delpech (formerly a former Seguy-Bigou workers' cooperative) in L'Aiguillon in 2000. He obtained the title of "craftsman" then "master craftsman in craftsmanship", since he made the entire chain on his own manufacturing process for horn combs.
The craftsman José Da Fonséca holds the title of "master craftsman in art", in the "tableware" sector of activity, "brush-corner" trade, specialty "horn comb".
