A portal from the second half of the 13th century or the 14th century, from the Cordeliers convent, was reused to adorn the facade of the fountain. The previous development was probably in 1659, the date inscribed on a stone.

The Cordeliers Fountain is a set made up of three parts. At the bottom of the fountain, a square niche cut into the rock captures the water which it sends into a rectangular basin sheltered by a room. The vault is lowered and all around this nymphaeum there is a stone bench. Placed in front as a frontispiece, a 14th century pointed portal with three rows of archivolts. This portal probably comes from a church in Mirepoix and would have been reassembled there.

This historic monument is located on private property.
