Based on the experience acquired by the professional company of "Fou de Bassan then F2B", in residence at the Grenier de Bougival theater since 1992, and on its practice in terms of creation and distribution, the A2CAT association was created to Ax Les Thermes, to lead a project to promote choreographic creation.
With a rich repertoire of around fifty creations, the company has performed more than 1000 times in a wide variety of places, bringing the art of choreography to new audiences. Invited to many theaters, the company has also multiplied its interventions in very different places, sometimes improbable but always with the objective of promoting choreographic art in all its forms. The diversity of the proposed projects leads all the dancers to acquire a wealth of interpretation inspired by different styles of dance.
Several artists, coming from different horizons also collaborate in the creations and bring an essential look to the act of creation, thus painters, sculptors, mimes, composers have worked with us.
La Cie R2 sets up each year: Discovery course The objective of the courses is to revisit a choreographic piece from the company's repertoire.
