Underground hike in the Lombrives cave

Equipped with a helmet and a headlamp, walk in the footsteps of the great explorers, retrace their history and come discover the living and sleeping areas of the team members of the Deep Time scientific expedition (the 15 people confined in a cave during 40 days! and yes it was here!): we take the time to settle in for a tasting of local products!
Discover the geological and historical treasures contained in the bowels of the cave. The part called "Lion Gallery" is newly accessible to the general public: more than 2 km from the entrance to the Lombrives cave, it is an absolutely splendid marble gallery.

Guided hike accessible if you can spend 4 hours in the darkness of a cave and you have no mobility problems: there is in particular a 10 meter footbridge on the side of the rock, very easy to cross... except if we feel dizzy! Hiking shoes and warm clothing essential. A timeless parenthesis, a complete connection with nature.
Break in the Lion Gallery with a copious tasting of Ariège products (included in the price)
