Chioula resort, cross-country skiing and Nordic area in Ariège Pyrénées

In the heart of a benevolent and peaceful nature, close toAx-3- Domains, the tracks of Nordic skiing in Chioula follow the gentle and natural layout of the paths and rural roads villages. 14 routes from 1 to 17 km are offered, here in a deep forest, there at the foot of the remains of the Cathar castle of Montaillou, elsewhere along a wide ridge where the panorama opens out over more than 100 km of chain of the Pyrenees. You can also try your hand at snowshoeing on plotted and marked trails to reach the guarded refuge in the heart of the ski area, the village of Prades, the Sorgeat or Ignaux mountains.
