Discover the Rucher du Montcalm, a mountain beekeeping farm located in the charming village of Marc, in Haute Ariège, in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park.

For over 30 years, Sylvie Humbert, nicknamed "Maya" by regulars, has been building this project, now taken over by her daughter Janice.

An exceptional natural setting:
The beehives are located in the Val-de-Sos and Auzat valleys, offering a pure and preserved ecosystem, free of pesticides and other phytosanitary products that could harm their balance. This ideal setting allows the bees to flourish and produce honey of exceptional quality.

Variety of honeys:
Le Rucher du Montcalm offers six varieties of honey, ranging from the fruity sweetness of Rhododendron honey to the woody power of Calluna Heather Honey. All honeys are 100% from wild flowers from the Ariège mountains, at altitudes between 700 and 1800 meters.

Awards and recognitions:
Mother Nature orchestrates the harvests and the different varieties of honey, offering unique taste palettes that have won many medals in competitions, notably at the Paris Agricultural Competition and regional competitions.

Share the passion for beekeeping:
Come and experience the true passion for beekeeping in the Rucher shop or during guided tours. A great opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of bees and taste tasty and authentic honeys!
