1 - Accompanied tour of the Xploria Park Young and old

10h: Come and discover the history of biodiversity from the creation of the universe until today: to learn everything from the first living organisms to dinosaurs, from ferns to delicate orchids, marine life to giant prehistoric mammals! Educational pond, corridors of time, life-size reconstructions, botanical spaces, tactile models, real fossils to touch and many other fun and scientific activities await you at the Xploria park.

2 - Guided tour of the Mas d'Azil cave

14h30: Discover the Grotto and its amazing dimensions:
* Cycle I: Storytelling tour “Once upon a time in Prehistory”: Accompanied by Énea, a little inhabitant of the cave, the children explore a new environment and learn about Prehistory (lifestyle, objects, music). They go in search of Arin, fawn and companion of Énéa, who is hiding in the Grotto.
* Cycle II: The Prehis-Artists: Playful discovery of Homo sapiens who lived in Mas-d'Azil for nearly 29 years. The focus is on their way of life, the art objects and the prehistoric music they will practice.
* Cycle III: “Before France... the first Homo sapiens in Europe”: Children have the privilege of discovering some of the oldest traces left in France by Homo sapiens.
* Cycle IV: The long history of Homo Sapiens: Visiting the cave and the museum will teach children about the long history of Homo sapiens at Mas-d'Azil; from the Aurignacians (39.000 years) to the farmers, breeders, sedentary people of the Neolithic, passing through the Magdalenian artists (16.000 years) and the Azilian snail hunters. Thematic workshops are available on each of the sites.

Educational objectives:
- Acquire landmarks in time and space as well as knowledge of the world around us.
- Understand and describe the real world, that of nature and that built by man.
- Respect the living and acquire responsible behavior
- Create a link between the participants through common activities.
