10:30 A.M. TO 12 P.M.: FRESCO WORKSHOP AT THE CHURCH OF VALS
During this workshop, students will discover the art of frescoes (history, technique, etc.). They will discover the importance of these painted decorations for the transmission of religious precepts in a society where reading is reserved for privileged races and the role of the church in society.
Each student will then create their own fresco using the techniques of the time and drawing inspiration from a detail from the Vals frescoes.
12:00 PICNIC FROM THE BAG
14 p.m. to 15:30 p.m. DISCOVERY OF MIREPOIX AND THE MAISON DES CONSULS
Visit through the medieval town of Mirepoix during which children will learn about the heritage (sculptures, fortifications and medieval houses) through drawings.
16:XNUMX PM END OF ACTIVITIES
