Domain of Montaut

Presentation: You will be able to discover the Ariège on the back of Mérens, a typical Ariège horse which served as a pack horse and as a mount to climb the steep paths of the Ariège Pyrenees chain. The horse is renowned for its sure footing and docility. It is the ideal mount for discovering the joys of horse riding and hiking. Walks and hikes (per hour, 1/2 day, day) are carried out with the accompaniment of riders from the Montaut estate. The equestrian infrastructures of the Domaine de Montaut
The equestrian domain: 15ha of enclosed meadows. Park: capacity of 20 horses all year round. The stables: capacity of 15 horses in boxes.

The reception of horses at the Domaine de Montaut:
- Horse pension (Meadow + straw + hay) = 190 € / month
- Horse pension (Pré + Night box + day trip + straw + hay) = 240 € / month (only from November to April)
- For food supplements: sold at cooperative price. For grooming and care, ask for a personalized quote at Domaine de Montaut.
- Camping formula (boarding horse meadow + rider in tent) = 15 € / day
- Bed and breakfast formula (board 1 horse meadow + 1 rider in guest room) = 37 € / day
- Bed and breakfast formula (board 1 horse meadow + 2 riders in guest room) = 57 € / day

Bivouac walks and hikes around the Domaine de Montaut:
- Walks of 1h30, accompanied by a BE or an ATE = 20 € / person
- Picnic day, accompanied = 75 € / person (4 hours on horseback + picnic).
