Small beach equipped and supervised during the months of July and August. Very pleasant in summer for swimming or basking in the sun.

Created in 1985, Lake Montbel is an artificial reservoir of 570 ha, bordered by forests, valleys and wild beaches, intended to irrigate 28 ha in the departments of Ariège, Aude and Haute-Garonne. It is also a privileged place for the observation of migratory birds and for fishing enthusiasts.

It is also a leisure base (banks of Léran) where young and old will find what they are looking for. So you can taste the joys of paddle, canoe, pedal boat, sail, or simply rent a boat and treat yourself to the lake in all its splendour. A tree climbing course also allows you to gain height in the pine forest. The lake is large but nothing will prevent you from going around it on horseback, on foot or by bike - the loop is 16km long. Many activities are offered on these shores of Léran. It is an unmissable place that should not be missed under any circumstances!
