Yakay Kayak is a small local family business based in Léran, on the shores of Lake Montbel.
At its head, Mika, State Certificate, a little Ariège bear bursting with energy, has developed various activities to help you discover Ariège from the water. There is something for all tastes, all ages and all desires.
Are you looking for a quiet getaway? For an hour, half a day, a day? You need to go to the lake. You will enjoy an exceptional setting and an immensity of calm and turquoise water to navigate and swim in complete safety. Welcomed in a good mood, you will leave in a canoe, paddle or pedal boat with all the necessary equipment (watertight containers, buoyancy aid vests).
For the more athletic, Mika will be happy to take you on the river, in a canoe kayak, on the rapids of Hers Vif. Alone to navigate this portion for years, the exploration promises to be wild and authentic. Departing from Camon, you will leave for 2 hours of crazy descent (plan for ½ day) in a very small committee. Fun guaranteed, water level guaranteed.
For the more seasoned, another portion of the Hers Vif can be navigated without supervision. Departing from Mirepoix, we offer two options: half-day route (St Sernin) or full-day route (Teilhet). Always alone facing Nature, always in a very small committee, are you ready to defy the tumults of our little river?
