Mondély Lake is an artificial reservoir fed by the waters of the Lèze. Its construction dates from 1980 and it is intended for the irrigation of the Lèze basin. Its capacity is 4 million m3 for an area of 50 ha.
Mondély lake is a place of family relaxation with beach, nautical activities and fishing. During the walks you can observe the natural flora and fauna of the surroundings of Mondély lake as well as the passage of migratory birds.

Easy access (by car) as well as a good population of predators (perch, pike and pike-perch) and white fish allow us to hope for an increase in the number of visitors to these sites.
A launching area is accessible next to the lake dike on the north shore on the D1 connecting the villages of Montegut Plantaurel and Mas d'Azil.
