Prehistory class

We suggest you spend 3 days in the Prehistory Park and visit, during this stay, the caves of Niaux (cycles 1 and 2) or Bédeilhac. You can choose between 2 thematic modules:
- Module 1: the art of prehistory.
- Module 2: life during prehistory.

Each module provides during the first morning, a personalized welcome presenting the Park and the content of the stay (reconstruction, participatory workshops, guided tours). A slideshow will present the general frameworks of prehistory: chronology, man, environment and will present the chosen theme. Here are the workshops of the Prehistory Park, according to the module:
- Art Workshop: manufacture of pigment, furniture, ornaments, bone work.
- Modeling and engravings workshop.
- Work of the skin workshop.
- Music Workshop.
- Fire lighting workshop.
- Flint cutting workshop.
- Hunting workshop.

Educational goals :
- Understand the notion of time, prehistory and technique (find the gestures that revolutionized the life of the first men).
- Discover prehistoric habitats.
- Initiate to a scientific approach.
- Practice a phase.
- Highlight the relationships between humans and animals in Prehistory.
