This circuit from Foix takes you into the Ariège valley from which you will make three climbs of increasing difficulty and an average slope of 8% over the entire route. Seignaux (770m) is your first objective, as a warm-up, because then the Traucadou pass will put you to the test with a 10.5km climb to reach the summit at 1253m. After a long descent to return to Foix (take care the D618 and D117 are frequented by vehicles) you tackle a final challenge: the end of Touron above the Prat d'Albis, which arrived at the Tour de France in 2019.
Please note that part of the circuit is closed during the winter. Consult inforoute09.fr before departure.
