This fairly easy walk will allow you to discover this magnificent waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the area. 246 m high in three successive floors, it is at its peak in May and June when the snow melts.

ROAD ACCESS:
From Saint Girons, take the D618 towards Oust and continue on the D32 to the village of Aulus les Bains.
In the village, turn right on the D8 towards Col de Latrape/Station de Guzet Neige.
Drive 200 meters and park at the first bend.

1 - START OF THE HIKE

In the bend, take the forest track which goes slightly uphill in a south-easterly direction.
Leave the first fork on the right and continue straight to reach the crossing with the GR10.

2 - GR10 BIFURCATION

Now continue the progression on the GR10.
Go along the Ars river to reach the Artigous bridge.

3 - ARTIGOUS BRIDGE

Cross the bridge. The climb is accentuated between switchbacks and straight lines while remaining above the Ars river until the waterfall.

4 - BASE OF THE ARS CASCADE

Once at the foot of the waterfall, you can continue to progress on the GR10 to enjoy several points of view on the different floors of the waterfall.

5 - RETURN

The return will be made by the same route to the starting point.
