FOUR APARTMENTS "AU MURMURE DE L'HERS" IN FRONT OF THE PRAIRIE "L'OREE DU BOIS" "LE PETIT MURMURE DE L'HERS"
Le Rasteille is a former sawmill transformed into reception lodges, located in Fougax-et-Barrineuf, a small picturesque village in the department of Ariège (Pyrenees), at the foot of Montségur. In a setting of woods, mountains and rivers, it is an ideal vacation spot for those who love walks or hikes, nature, calm and sporting activities.
In the mountain range of the Pyrenees, in Ariège, the house enjoys an ideal location: next to a small bridge over the L'Hers river, at the exit of the charming little village of Fougax-et-Barrineuf and very close to the famous Cathar castle of Montségur. It is a good place to rest in unspoiled nature and a region where historical remains are numerous. The four apartments each have sanitary facilities and an equipped kitchen. Of different capacities, they can accommodate a total of 20 people.
Located at almost 600 meters above sea level, on the outskirts of a small village in the heart of the Pyrenees, it is a great starting point for hiking, cycling and cultural stops. Near the lodgings we find: the intermittent Fontestorbes fountain, hiking trails (Cathar trail, the GR7), the Monts d'Olmes resort open in winter and summer with its many attractions.
