Gîte Le Pinson

In Couserans country, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park, located in a clearing without any traffic, the chalet has nothing to do with the bungalows often intended for vacation rental. It is a house in its own right. Christian and Marie carefully followed all the stages of its manufacture by our local craftsmen, as well as the equipment and the final decoration. They wanted it to be rustic in harmony with our mountains, without giving in to the elements of comfort. The furnishings are simple, sober, in harmony with the ubiquitous wood. The atmosphere generates balance and serenity. It is nestled on the edge of the forest, surrounded by pastures where traditional pastoral life continues unabated.

It consists, on the ground floor, of a living room with integrated kitchen and lounge area, a bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a bathroom with separate toilet. Upstairs on the mezzanine, accessible by a ladder, you will find 1 90 cm bed and 1 140 cm bed and a storage area. Perfectly insulated, it is as cozy in winter as in summer. Everything opens onto a large south-facing terrace. Wooden table with integrated benches. Barbecue. Common land of 4000 m². Shared private parking. Housekeeping service on request.
