This former coach house, beautifully renovated in the country style, is located in the small mountain village of Mérens-les-Vals. "Le Cabanat" welcomes, as a priority but not exclusively, families up to 15 people, or friends, for a vacation, leisure time or business meeting.
The ideal place to organize family celebrations, the ground floor of the building offers you a large living-dining room (70 m²) with fireplace and an adjoining kitchen (20 m²) fully equipped with a cooking piano which has a a 115-liter oven.
In the living room, in front of the piano, a large modular table from 1,60 m to 3,60 m promises you moments of conviviality by the fireside, around a raclette or a board game.
This warm house includes three fully equipped and independent apartments:
- On the 1st floor:
- Le Desman (T2 for 2 to 4 people), bathroom with hydromassage shower. Independent WC.
- L'Hélice Ariégeoise (T3 for 5 people), bathroom with bathtub. Independent WC.
- On the 2nd floor:
- Le Panicaut de Bourgat (T3 for 4 to 6 people), bathroom with double washbasin. Independent WC.
Ground floor: Large entrance hall. Ski-room, with boot dryer and heated changing rooms, common to the 3 apartments.
Free WIFI. Indoor non-smoking house. Animals not admitted.
Tourist tax in supplement (variable rate according to the composition of the family).
First outbreak offered, beyond that, the wood is 75 € per m3.
Outside of school holidays, possibility of short stays and weekends on request.
The price does not include: electricity (beyond the basic electricity package), the deposit.
Exterior description: fenced yard with garden furniture and barbecue, by the roadside.
Shops and services: On-site grocery store in summer - All shops and services in Ax-Les-Thermes 8 km away. SNCF station (direct line Paris-Barcelona) 300 m. Bus to Ax-Les-Thermes and Andorra on site.
Local leisure activities: departure point for many hikes (GR10 and GR107), natural hot springs 10 minutes' walk from the top of the village, Romanesque church, fishing, summer swimming pool and tennis in Ax-Les-Thermes. Spa and cable car 8 km, Andorra 24 km. Winter sports resorts in the Ax (Beille, Chioula), Bonascre (and Ascou-Pailhère) and Andorra Valleys nearby.
