Welcome to Domaine La Belle Histoire located in Ariège, in the heart of the Cathar Pyrenees, 5 minutes from the medieval village of Mirepoix.

Discover this exceptional 19th century house nestled in the heart of an exceptional park, with 2 apartments located on the 1st floor and fully equipped.

Domaine La Belle Histoire has been completely renovated and transformed to make it a “special address” inviting you to live a unique experience whether for a romantic getaway, a stay with family or friends, or even of a business trip.

We wanted this place, open to travelers from all over the world, to provide an intimate and delicate atmosphere.

On the first floor of the building, this 62 m2 character gîte immediately sets the tone: original fireplace, high ceilings, four-poster bed, the whole is majestic and comfortable. The accommodation is perfectly equipped to accommodate up to four guests: a large family room with 2 double beds, bathroom with toilet, fitted kitchen, living-dining room.
The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) and has everything you need for preparing meals (Nespresso, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender, mixer, etc.).
In the adjacent room there is a dining area and a pleasant living room, ideal for relaxing and watching your favorite films (TNT and DVD player).

The interior decoration will give you the experience of a timeless stay.


Enjoy a breathtaking view of the property's garden and park.

All household linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels).

You can enjoy the fully equipped exteriors (barbecue, deckchairs, swing, garden tables and chairs), very quiet and shared with other occupants, to eat your meals, relax or enjoy the games area.

Take advantage of the greenway which passes at the foot of the Domaine to reach Mirepoix on foot or by bike, and cover the 40 km of track to discover the most beautiful tourist sites in Ariège.
The Cathar Country is full of castles and medieval villages, you will be immersed in History through your walks and other visiting circuits.

Don't miss the Monday morning market in Mirepoix, one of the most beautiful in the department!

Ariège is also green tourism: stop off at Lake Montbel with its turquoise waters to enjoy water activities or a good refreshing swim. You can take a short trip to the Bamboo Park, go for beautiful hikes or try out the many outdoor activities (canoeing, kayaking, etc.).
There is something for all tastes and all ages!

For a completely relaxing stay, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in our on-site wellness center. On the program: massages, facials, beauty treatments, meditation classes, etc.
