In the heart of the Montcalm massif, it is located on the edge of the Pinet pond, a magnificent belvedere over the granite valley of the Artigue.

It is a step to climb the summits of Montcalm (3077m) and the peak of Estats (3143m). From up there, a 360° view awaits you over the Vicdessos valley and Spain.

Without guarding, part of the refuge is open to free management, offering a capacity of 18 people. A participation of 8 € is requested.
