The refuge is open from the end of June to the end of September.
Excluding babysitting: 11 places.
Facilities: common room; stove ; toilet; paid hot showers.
Services: catering; drinks ; packed lunch.
The refuge is located near the GR10, it is also a stage of the HRP (Haute Route Pyrénéenne) and the Three Nations cross-border circuit.
Classic access is via the parking lot of the Pradières-d'en-haut power station, and the Izourt pond. Other possible accesses from the Soulcem pond and the Picot ponds, or from Andorra (Arcalis ski resort).
From the refuge, many peaks are accessible on foot: Pic de Tristagne, Pic de Malcaras, Pic de l'étang Fourcat, Pic de l'Aspre, etc...
Whether you are a fisherman or a simple hiker, you can also enjoy the crystal clear waters of the multitude of lakes nearby: the Fourcat ponds, the Goueille pond, the Petsiguer ponds, the Picot ponds, etc...
