Explore the Mas-d'Azil Prehistory Museum, with its famous Faon aux oiseaux spear thrower, Azilian pebbles and the Magdalenian skull. Admire exceptional prehistoric objects and delve into the history of Azilian civilization.

Discover the Mas-d'Azil Prehistory Museum, a unique place to explore the Azilian civilization and its treasures. Admire the famous Faon aux oiseaux spear thrower, a masterpiece of Paleolithic art, as well as a priceless collection of Azilian pebbles and typical microliths. Let yourself be surprised by the Magdalenian skull, the only human testimony in the Mas-d'Azil cave, presented with its scientific reconstruction.

The visit takes place on two levels: on the ground floor, temporary exhibitions and reproductions of parietal paintings and engravings inaccessible in the cave; on the first floor, prehistoric objects of exceptional quality, weapons, tools, and engraved or sculpted portable art.

The ticket includes entrance to the cave, a fascinating site for a total immersion in prehistoric history. About 30 to 40 minutes of intense discovery for all archaeology and prehistory enthusiasts!
