The Pyrenees have 38 ski resorts, 6 of which are located in Ariège : Ax-3-Domaines, Guzet, the Monts d'Olmes, Ascou, Mijanès and Goulier. Why ski in the Pyrenees?

- The Pyrenees do not offer THAT small ski areas!
Ax-3 domains and its 80km of slopes, allows all good skiers to have fun thanks to its 1000m of vertical drop (more than Flaine, Chamrousse or Les Saisies…)!
- The Pyrenees are easy to access!
The part of the Pyrenees closest to Toulouse is in Ariège!
Ax-3-Domains is the closest ski resort to Toulouse, 1h30 only to get to the foot of the gondola at Ax-les-Thermes. Motorway and expressways make access very easy to resorts in the Ariège Pyrenees: Ax-3-Domaines, Ascou, Goulier and the Monts d'Olmes are accessible in 1h30 to 1h50 by road. For Guzet it takes 2 hours to drive.
- Skiing in the Pyrenees is not more expensive than the Alps!
Well no… If the packages are equivalent to those that can be found in the Alps, the cost of living in Ariège is much lower… Restaurants, accommodation, non-ski activities… sensational but affordable vacations are within reach. hand in our ski resorts!
- The ski lifts are of very good quality
Recent studies have shown that it is totally wrong to think that the ski lift park is obsolete ... quite the contrary: “In the end, the weighted age for the entire fleet of cable cars in the Pyrenees Mountains is exactly the same as that of the installations in the Alps, namely 19 years” (Source: ski info). Quick access to the slopes thanks to 6-seater chairlifts, gondola lifts… in Ariège, little waiting, great skiing experience!
- The après-ski life has nothing to envy in the Alps… or almost!
The great mountain classics (snowshoeing, dog sledding, etc.) are obviously offered in Ariège, as are relaxation and well-being activities: after the day's skiing at Ax-3-Domaines or Ascou you can relax in the hot and bubbling thermal waters of the Bains du Couloubret, before going for a little trip to the Casino!
Many initiations are possible, like ski touring, biathlon, fat bike, just like the sharing of experiences (opening of the slopes with the trackers…), or the unusual outings (trapper evening with night under igloo, or the construction of an igloo.

Save as much time as possible with this subscription card. The network No Concern Pyrenees brings together 3 Ariège ski resorts: Ax-3-Domaines, Guzet and Monts d'Olmes. And also many other Pyrenean resorts: Cauterets, Gourette, Formiguères... In total, 14 resorts to spend a winter at the top! ⛷️
The purchase is made at the beginning of the season and then nothing else to think about than putting the skis on the roof of the car as soon as the desire arises! The amount of the package will be directly debited from the bank account the month following your ski outing. And in addition the price is decreasing ! Freedom in all its glory.
