A medieval village with fortified ramparts with its feudal motte and keep, including an interpretation trail allowing you to discover the history. A stop is essential when you take the route bis (the tourist route) from or to Toulouse!

Tourtouse is a small village in the Volvestre Ariégeois, near Sainte Croix Volvestre and its royal forest. Discover this small village and its feudal motte during a walk of around 1h30 which takes you to the typical hamlets. Within the walls of the village, part of the ramparts has been restored into an open-air theatre: experiencing a show in this place is a magical moment! The Remp'arts association offers an eclectic programme.
