The Château de Miglos stands its imposing ruins on a limestone spur, in the Vicdessos valley, between Niaux and Capoulet. At the end of the Middle Ages, the land of Miglos, erected into a barony, gave right of entry to the States of Foix. In 1987, the castle of Miglos (already in ruins) was set on fire. It was classified as a Historic Monument in 2017. Crystallization work allowed the rehabilitation of the Keep and the northwest tower in XNUMX the ruins of the castle were saved. The association and the department are in the process of creating an interpretation trail around the castle. Free visit of the surroundings. Car park. Water point. Billboard. An orientation table offers a beautiful panorama over the Vicdessos valley and the Niaux cave.
