This museum exhibits the findings of excavations on the historic site of the castle. You will be able to discover cannonballs, scissors, weapons, and objects of everyday life from the XNUMXth century.
It is also a permanent exhibition on Catharism in Ariège.
It is the essential complement for those who wish to approach the daily lifestyle of the men and women who have followed one another on the site of the Château de Montségur.
In addition to the various exhibits, models and other reproductions, we discover the moving graves (the only ones found so far on the pog) of a man and a woman who died during the siege of 1243 - 1244.
