In terms of waterways, Pech is irrigated by the Ariège river, but also by the Gérièys and Laval d'Albiès streams. The historical omnipresence of agriculture in this region has left many traces, as evidenced by the presence of numerous mountain huts, spectacular paths and terraces, summer pastures and pine forests. The 2 notable huts of Pech are that of Mounégou, located at 1700 m altitude on the road to the Plateau de Beille, which is open to the public, as well as that of Pierrefitte, at 1500 m altitude with a very pretty point of view of the Aston Valley below.
