A small town, Ascou is particularly known for its Ascou-Pailhères resort. It is nestled in the heart of a forest of fir trees and has high quality snow cover throughout the season. 17 runs of varying levels, 7 ski lifts, a toboggan run, a ski school run and nearly 30 snow cannons, this is an excellent family resort.

In addition, the village of Ascou (having nothing to do with the resort) is made up of the town and 6 hamlets spread over 14 km, located on a rocky outcrop, sunny, in peaceful greenery. In the hamlet of Goulours there is an artificial water reservoir created in 1946 under development, on the edge of the lake is a stopover gîte.
The summer pastures are grazed by the herds of the area.
The port of Pailhères and the Col du Pradel offer a total change of scenery at an altitude of 2 m where, during the winter, it is good to ski at the alpine ski resort...

Opening hours of the town hall:
Monday: 18 p.m.-20 p.m.
Thursday: 9 am-12pm and 14 pm-17pm
