Chioula Refuge

From the Col de Chioula (10 km from Ax-les-Thermes) it is the meeting place for cross-country skiers, snowshoers, hikers (GR 107, routes from one village to another), mountain bikers.
You will recharge your batteries alone, as a couple, with your family or in a group.

Goalkeeper: Alvaro ALEMAN

Reception: 31 people, rooms for 2 to 6 people, blankets, duvet recommended in summer and winter.

Facilities: common room, stove, wc, showers.

Services: catering, drinks, pancakes, packed lunch.

Access route: from the Col du Chioula parking lot, 45 minutes on foot. Tourist tax to be paid on site.

This guarded refuge welcomes you all year round:
- Winter: during the opening period of the northern Chioula area, accommodation by reservation.
- Summer: from June 15 to September 30 and by reservation for other periods.
- Closed in April and November.

Please note, if you want to sleep in a refuge, remember to book by phone, at the latest the day before your departure for the hike.
