The Aston and Hospitalet mountains

Massif invaded in the summer by Mérens horses and Gascon cows. The Tarascon sheep, for their part, frequent the high peaks such as the Rulhe peak, a magnificent belvedere that is worth the detour.
In the Hospitalet sector, the Sisca valley is carpeted with a very rich flora.
The entire massif is home to more than 50 altitude lakes full of fish. But be careful, you won't be able to fish in all of them (see Ariège Federation fishing guide).
