Discovery of an exceptional natural environment

At an altitude of 850 m, this chasm measures about 60m by 30m and is accessible thanks to a viewing platform for a safe visit. It is the abyss of both absorption and collapse. The total depth reaches about 110m.

Free and open access, all year round.
It takes 45 minutes to walk there from the parking lot. So much to come back.

Municipality of Bélesta. Take the direction of the Bélesta forest. Natural car park to the right of the road, at the level of the "castle", an old building on the side of the road, on the left, going up.
Take the forest path on the left which leads to the cailhol from above and continue on the marked path.

The ravine of the Ravens can be the object of a hike of 5 hours of walking, in a loop, described in the topo-guide of hikes of the country of Olmes and entitled "Communal Forest of Bélesta". This topo-guide is on sale in the territory's tourist offices for 5 €.
